For those planning to come to our worship services during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, here a few things to keep in mind. These will likely be the norm for the rest of the summer:

  • If you are sick or have had exposure to COVID19, you need to stay home.

  • If you are part of an at-risk population, you need to stay home. According to the CDC this includes

    • Anyone over the age of 65

    • Living in a nursing home or long-term care facility

    • People who have underlying medical conditions, etc.

  • Everyone must maintain a distance of 6 feet from those outside your household.

    • This will include us taping off every other pew.

  • In accordance with the MN Department of Health guidelines, there will be no congregational singing. Our service will be shorter than usual, running about 45 minutes.

  • We welcome you to wear a mask, but do not require it.

  • The offering plate will not be passed, but instead there will be a basket placed in the back of the sanctuary.

We hope many of you will still feel comfortable to join us in worship this Sunday at 10:30 AM. It is always a good thing to meet together for encouragement and to hear the Word of God proclaimed. "Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing" (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

In Christ,

The Salem Elders
